Phuket Nearby Island Hotels & Resorts

Phuket is a dreamy, tropical paradise but dotted around this incredible place are a number of other islands only accessible by boat and these are arguably even prettier and more secluded. Full of exotic beaches, dazzling underwater coral and lovely blues seas, these islands offer everything from luxury accommodation to budget conscience options.

The best known of the nearby islands are undoubtedly Phi Phi Leh and Phi Phi Don. These two usually feature heavily in travel itineraries and this is simply down to their stunning beauty that was captured in the Hollywood film 'The Beach'. Speaking of Hollywood films, not too far away is James Bond Island which unsurprisingly featured in a James Bond film, 'The Man with The Golden Gun'. Although these destinations still retain their striking beauty they are among the more popular nearby islands to stay on and visit. If you're looking for something a little different there are dozens more choices.

Slightly closer to Phuket lie Racha (Raya) Island and Coral Island which are both spectacular for diving. Coral Island is ideal for isolated luxury as there is only one hotel on the island and this also makes it worthy of a day trip, while Raya is more suited to longer stays with more facilities available. Similarly there are a number of other small islands off the southern coast of Phuket which are best visited on a chartered boat. Stop off, enjoy the beach and the sun, then head back onto the boat and try another island.
