Nai Harn Beach Hotels & Resorts

A gorgeous beach surrounded by thick jungle with calm, warm waters lapping onto the shore—there are certainly worse places to be than Nai Harn. On top of that, the beach has yet to experience serious development thanks to a nearby monastery which prevents any major hotel projects from being built.

Considering these facts it's no surprise that Nai Harn is most popular with locals and expats in the know. As a result it is often busier at the weekends but catch it during the week and you'll experience one of Phuket's best beaches with only a few other visitors. And if you really want to seek out isolation there are two much smaller nearby beaches which can both be walked to. Ao Sane and Ya Nui are two little Phuket secrets well worth visiting, especially Ao Sane because the snorkelling and diving is amongst the island's best.

Despite the lack of development there are still plenty of Nai Harn resorts and Nai Harn hotels to stay in but as the beach is so nice you may not spend much time in them. Occasionally a swell rolls into the beach creating some surfable waves at the southern end. If that sounds a bit too energetic, there is always the option of exploring underwater with some snorkelling gear. As the sun sets the beach quietens down a bit but the nearby town offers restaurants and bars to round off the day in style.
